About Our Chapter

If you have thought about joining OET and our chapter now is the time! We will be having a big event at Stub Stewart State Park on May 3rd and you will not want to miss out! Come and Join us! We often have arena nights during the winter months so come on out and enjoy. Email us at: northwest@myoet.org or come to our meeting!!

We meet on the third Monday of the month at the Prime Time Restaurant & Sports Bar, 4450 Pacific Ave, Forest Grove, no-host dinner/social at 6:00 pm, meeting starts at 7:00 pm. We invite guest speakers, we get regular updates from the Oregon State Parks, Metro, and Oregon Department of Forestry in regards to horse camping and trail building, and of course, planning campouts and trail rides!

We help out at three horse camps each year. If you want to get the details on Stub Stewart, Reehers or Stagecoach….join us! We go to each of these horse camps to prepare them for the camping season. We have lunch, pick up sticks, pull some invasive weeds and have a general good time. We often bring our horses so we can ride that day too! There are always camp hosting opportunities if you have ever thought about that! Let us know!

We assist other OET Chapters, Oregon Department of Forestry, Oregon State Parks and Recreation, and local agencies throughout Oregon with non-motorized trail maintenance and maintaining horse camps. We are dedicated to preserving equestrian recreation for future generations.
